ORACLE OF THE STARS | four sessions deep dive
I look up often to the Moon, the stars and the Sun for insight and direction with my life. These celestial luminaries are ancient and wise, illuminating my path, and showing me the way. They are more than just a map, or a set of keys...they are sacred guides.
Each year, we progress through the wheel of the Zodiac in what is called an 'Annual Profection', which begins anew each birthday. This progression moves house by house, planet by planet and sign by sign, and while it differs a bit from your natal or birth chart, it deeply affects your birth chart by becoming another layer, or foundation. This year I'm in an Annual Profection with Venus in Taurus, in the 5th house. Overall, this has brought so much beauty, intense creativity and such sweetness into my life, and it has activated my natal Venus in Pisces placement to create a very profound sense of dreaminess, and a deeper pursuit and understanding of spirituality and mysticism. Next year, on my birthday in January I'll be moving into a Mercury/Gemini/6th House Annual Profection, which I'm feeling the energy of now as the two portals overlap at the ending of one and the beginning of another...this is a liminal, threshold place of in-between, where I'm experiencing the last throes of a heightened Venus and the first stirrings of an awakening Mercury.
I've used this ancient Hellenistic timing technique this year to really move into alignment with Venus, so that I could use her energy, power and wisdom to accomplish and achieve all that she is in rulership of. One of the most exciting gifts of this alignment was the opportunity to sign a new book publishing contract, of which the book will be published next year (more on this exciting news later), during my Mercury Annual Profecton...Mercucy has rulership over writing! So in essence, by working rituals, and magic for aligning and being in the flow with Venus, who has rulership over creativity, and the arts, I received this planet's support for opening the roads for a publishing contract to come though, which will then be nurtured and supported by Mercury next year.
